 On February 8,  National Youth and  Children's Palace hosted the event "Meeting with Iran", dedicated to the 37th anniversary of the independence of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The  Children's International Relations Room named after  Rezo Tabukashvili at the Palace  and cultural Department of Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran,  jointly organized an evening exploring the culture of Iran. The disciples of the Cabinet introduced a variety of presentation,  spoke about Georgian-Iranian relations, on diplomatic ties between the two countries, concerning the present achievements of Iran, read the Iranian masterpieces of classics in different languages.

The participants were welcomed by representatives of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. They talked about the necessity of deepening of Georgian-Iranian relations and thanked the management of the Palace  for cooperation.

The guests were welcomed by the Director of the Palace Ketevan Peikrishvili, which congratulated the Iranian people on the national holiday and expressed the hope that Iranian teenagers  will be involved  more active in such cultural events.
