 On March 19 in the hall of mirrors held the "Earth Hour" - "turn the light off for one hour". The Minister of environment and natural resources of Georgia Gigla  Agulashvili, Deputy resident  representative of UN in Georgia Shombi Sharp, teacher  of geoenvironmental circle  Eka Elizbarashvili spoke about the significance and history of "Earth Hour", on the suppression of unwanted, damaging environmental processes and on inevitability inclusion  creative young  generation in these processes .  Students of  geoenvironmental circle  acquainted the attendees with the traditional  celebration of  "Earth Hour", proclaimed 12 simple rules stop global warming and distributed booklets on that day. After a symbolic reference has been turned off the lights and lighted candles formed the main slogan of the day - 60+. The honorary guests made a memorable entry in the book of impressions of the Palace.
